I will be joining my daughter Marlena and her Alpha Chi Omega sisters at Relay for Life University of Tampa on April 14th. In 2017 Marlena had a breast cancer scare. Fortunately, her tumors were benign but she remains at increased risk for breast cancer. Relay for Life is our way of celebrating cancer survivors, caregivers and remembering loved ones who died from the disease. Make an impact! Support Marlena HERE. On January 21, 2017 I put on my Strong Women t-shirt, laced up my Merrell walking shoes, slathered on the suntan lotion and joined my neighbors, Susan and Linda, in the Women’s March Sarasota. It was my first participation in such an activity. As we crossed the John Ringling Causeway we were over 6,000 activists strong! It was an exhilarating experience. I can’t wait to march again.
